1. Disclaimer & Medical Notice
Important Notice:
DoctorVoice is a technology product owned by DoctorVoice Technology, a software and electronic applications development company, and is not a medical facility providing healthcare services, nor does it engage in any treatment or medical practice. The company’s role is limited to providing a technical platform that connects users with licensed doctors without any intervention in diagnosis or treatment (acting as a neutral technical intermediary).
The company is not a medical establishment, does not practice medicine, and does not interfere with the medical decisions of doctors. The medical relationship and professional responsibility rest entirely and directly between the 'User' (Patient) and the 'Service Provider' (Licensed Doctors).
Nature of Remote Medical Consultations:
Remote medical consultations via the DoctorVoice app may involve limitations in clinical accuracy for various reasons, including the absence of an in-person clinical examination, limited information provided by the user, or other factors that may affect the physician’s assessment of the condition. Therefore, the app is not a substitute for in-person medical examination or emergency care, and users must immediately seek hospital care or contact emergency services in emergency situations.
Application Use & Usage Limits:
• The DoctorVoice app is intended solely for remote medical consultations and follow-up, and must not be used in emergency or critical situations. The app is designed for non-emergency medical consultations only.
• In emergency situations, the user (patient) is legally required to immediately contact the Egyptian Ambulance Service at 123 or proceed directly to the nearest hospital.
• The company disclaims all liability for any delays or consequences resulting from violation of this provision or the use of the app in emergency situations.
• The app is not a substitute for in-person medical examinations or services provided at hospitals or clinics.
• All users (patients) are responsible for providing accurate information when submitting any health data or attachments (e.g., images, X-rays, lab tests, or medical reports).
• Users must comply with Egyptian laws, including health, communications, and data protection regulations. Any violation may result in account suspension or termination.
• Doctors are fully responsible for all consultations, medical assessments, treatment plans, and prescriptions provided.
• The app does not provide any health measurements.
Informed Consent before Receiving a Prescription or Treatment Plan:
• When a user receives a prescription or treatment plan within the app, they must choose one of the following options before opening the PDF file:
1. Agree / Confirm:
Clicking the “Agree” or “Confirm” button constitutes “Written Informed Consent”:
I, the user, acknowledge that the doctor has explained the nature of my condition and the proposed treatment plan, and I have been informed of the potential risks and complications. By clicking this button, I provide full and final written informed consent to receive the treatment, in accordance with the mandatory requirements of Articles (1) and (5) of Medical Liability Law No. 13 of 2025.
2. Ask Doctor:
If the user selects the “Ask Doctor” button, the following message is sent automatically to the doctor:
"I need to know more about the potential risks and complications of this treatment before receiving the prescription."
• The user will not be able to access the prescription until they provide informed consent.

• Doctors are fully responsible for medical opinions, diagnosis, treatment plans, and prescriptions based on the submitted voice messages and attachments.
• The app is not liable for any medical misdiagnoses, incorrect advice, delays in response, or technical issues.
• The user acknowledges that by accepting to receive a medical prescription or treatment plan through the application (by clicking the "Agree," "Confirm," or any other electronic method provided by the app), it constitutes full and final “written informed consent.”
The user acknowledges that the doctor has informed them (via voice or text messages) about the nature of their condition and the potential risks and complications of the treatment prior to their acceptance.
